Aren’t these presentations about change?
And, Mr. Grosse, how did you find out about the fisch bowl blog?

Great Presentations! So..the secret to good presentations is not having too many words on one slide..Personally, I preferred the one which won first prize because it has less words on it. In addition, it has more pictures. Really interesting and colourful! (I am attracted by colours) As for the second presentation, I liked the last part where there was a picture of a cherry (a small change) and a picture of Earth after that. It really shows the transition. And I love the pictures too! They bring out the beauty of nature…so eye-catching and yet so natural.(If only I could take photos like that!)Changes, changes, changes…Shift does happen! (And the powerpoints were really informative..I didn’t know many of the things in there..)

It is interesting to find out that I have learnt so much from the powerpoint slides, which contained only a few words on each slide (actually, it is a few words multiplied by 119.) Anyway, Mr Grosse, why did you post these presentations?

I went to look at the second winner’s presentation (by acessing the URL that Gloria provided) and I enjoyed it. It was about how to make the great presentations, and it actually used the least amount of words among the three presentations, with some slides wordless. The presentation’s title was:’Meet Henry’, and tells how you can make good presentations by using contrast: what a good presenter does during presentaion or what is applied in the presentation and what a bad presenter does during presentation or what is applied in the presentation.

Mr. Grosse, I can’t get in to the wikispace- I can’t join! The link you sent me directed me to this website which had two blanks- username and password, and the email filled already. The button below said ‘join’, but when I clicked ‘join’ the page I was directed to was the same page, except that the username and email was there, but the password had disappeared. How come? Plz reply…

Hazel, I think there is a restiction to the password (e.g. the password must be blah to blah letters long). You should try again. There is a note at the top of the page that points to what you did wrong (so that you will type in a better password that allows you to sign in without any problems. In other words, a password that exceeds all the requirements of the password.)

well Hazel, when that happens, scroll all the way up and read what is in the yellow box!

I think the presentations are very good as they use little words to express alot. As the saying goes:” A picture tells a thousand words” Yes, the presentations do show that. I personally prefer the one that got first as the facts are much more interesting than the one that got third.
